Referral Letter and Snow!

Within the packet of papers Sheila is holding is our referral letter which allows us to go to Odessa to see Karina!  We received the  papers a couple of hours ago and should be in Odessa by 10PM Mississippi time!!!!  We talked with Tasha, a friend that lives in Ukraine who knows Karina and she told us that she was able to talk with Karina a few days ago and Karina asked, "When, when, when, when, when are they coming?"
Dear Karina, we are coming tonight!

It is snowing!  Snow is something we do not see much of in Mississippi so I have enjoyed every flake:

Jay and I went to buy some water and I made a small snowman on the way to market:

On the way back to the hotel we noticed that someone had found our little snowman and added an accessory.  I guess it looked like the snowman was in need of a break:

  1. I told Karina that you would be in Odessa in the morning. She got a big smile. See you soon!

  2. I am SO excited that you will be there soon!!!

Our girl has been in the hospital (like going to the doctor's for us), so we haven't had contact with her in what seems like a long time. We miss her! Hope you can see her too, but I can't wait for you to be reunited with Karina!!

  7. Hey you guys we are soooo excited that you are there. The Petre's have been keeping us up to date on Dasha as well. Tell our Dasha that we love her and will see her soon as well. We'll keep praying for you guys that things go smoothly. I think at this rate the sixth grade class will be getting smaller. Praise God that we have all been called to bring these kids home.
